Local Journeys for Change: Training and grant for local action
Local Journeys for Change (LJC) was an IETM programme for IETM members, aimed to empower them to bring positive change to their local professional context, local communities or policy-making field.
The programme focused on the theme of Inclusivity, Equality and Fairness. The LJC selection committee selected 24 projects led by IETM members from 22 countries worldwide. They benefited from training, coaching sessions, peer-review exchange and financial support to implement their projects in their respective local communities.
Each application was assessed based on how it responded to the theme of Inclusivity, Equality and Fairness, the urgency of need for change and the impact of this work on the local community. The participants also met at the IETM Belgrade Plenary Meeting in 2022 to discuss the lessons learned and achievements gained from participating in the programme. Furthermore, they received professional coaching on the project after the Belgrade meeting.
You can view the 24 selected projects by clicking on the tab above, as well as read their blog posts and news from 2022 and watch the video testimonials of how the project benefited participants.
"Local Journeys for Change" happened as part of our Creative Europe project "The New International in the Performing Arts (NIPA): Bridging local and global".
