Look What’s Happening: A Discussion on Documentary Theatre
For many of us, theatre is a way to try and make sense of a complex, multi-faceted, and quickly evolving reality. In a world of commercial media, where information is an essential asset, where privacy and secrecy are radically questioned; who can we trust to help us build our opinions about the world around us, that in turn decide on the best course of action as effected citizens? In this session, artists who are particularly interested in the relativity of truth, reality, and objectivity, we discuss if documentary theatre is the ultimate medium with which to gives address the complexities of our realities.
