Navigating practices of change
Address: Viktoriastraße 10-18, 12105 Berlin, Germany | Venue Information | Event Map
Rehearsing different forms of collaboration, encounters and testing possible futures are at the core of the performing arts. How can this artistic approach of the not-yet-knowing be transferred to our organisational practices? How can processes of change be productive and pleasurable and help develop alternatives to current hierarchical and authoritarian realities?
In this session, we wish to create a space for collective learning by telling each other about our practice, successes and failures, challenges, strategies and methods of engaging courageously in change. With a focus on carefully listening to each other and avoiding quick answers, we would like to explore how to shift structures by taking a critical stand towards power and one's own relationship to power.
Joanne Kee, Nimi Ravindran, Katja Sonnemann and Sophia Stepf will have a conversation on their practices of doing things differently, their intersectional feminist approaches of collective care and their un-and-re-learning journeys, before the participants engage in peer exchange sessions to explore more ways of navigating change.
