Bill of Rights Assembly – a participatory happening
Based on what we have learnt about democracy and participation during the three days of the Budapest meeting in three hours we are going to put together a Bill of Rights as we, IETM participants perceive this key document of any democracy. What are the ten most basic rights we would all like to have in our constitution? Starting out as an assembly we will continue to work in ten small groups, each helped by a representative of an underprivileged group such Roma, gay, challenged, unemployed or homeless people, children, pensioners, refugees and single mothers.
All delegates are encouraged to join this unique experiment, a fusion between the working and the artistic programme.
