How to Moderate a Discussion
IETM has now offered two training sessions on moderating. Now is the time to put your learning to the test. Anyone who has followed one of the previous training sessions is invited to moderate a working group here in Montreal and/or in Ghent (during our next meeting). We will put an experienced moderator in your group to give you constructive feedback after the experience. Alternatively, you may volunteer to sit in on a session and take notes, which you can share with others in the group later. Prior to the Montreal meeting, we will contact people who have received the training, and invite them to either moderate a group or sit in on someone else s group. At the end of the IETM Meeting, we will bring the participants back together to share notes.
