Service provider or partner in crime?
The producer’s profession is becoming increasingly important in the independent performing arts and has developed distinct, yet very diverse profiles. Nevertheless, the key challenge remains to raise more awareness and acknowledgement of the profession – in all its facets – and furthermore, to establish sustainable structures in the areas of education, exchange and networking.
Being aimed at producers, managers and agents, this encounter provides a space for an exchange of experiences, ideas and know-how. This session is a cooperation between the German Association of Independent Performing Arts, the Dachverband Tanz Deutschland (Association for Dance in Germany), the Performing Arts Program Berlin and Katja Sonnemann (free performing arts producer, Academy for Performing Arts Producer).
