The majority is different
World-class disabled artists do not create work in a vacuum; organisations which provide excellent accessibility for disabled audiences and professionals do not achieve this by accident. Producers, programmers, funders and artists all contribute to the cultural ecosystem. How, in Germany, can they move forward from theory to tangible change, and how does this compare with elsewhere in Europe? This session will look at the context for creating truly inclusive, accessible, and excellent cultural practice, using a number of German examples to explore the theme.
