Our pre-meeting excursion to Guimarães on the 25th of April, organised with the support of A Oficina, will guide you through one of the most charming parts of northern Portugal. As part of a small group of IETM Porto participants, you will get a special glimpse into the cultural life of the town, which was the European Capital of Culture in 2012, and get acquainted with the local artistic community. The trip starts with visits to Centro Cultural Vila Flor and Centro para os Assuntos da Arte e Arquitectura in the morning. After a short walk and lunch in the Guimarães town centre, we will discover Casa da Memória and Centro Internacional das Artes José de Guimarães.
