Arts Council England are looking for an Economist
Arts Council England champions, develops and invests in artistic and cultural experiences that enrich people’s lives. We support a range of activities across the arts, museums and libraries – from theatre to digital art, reading to dance, music to literature, and crafts to collections.
We are recruiting for an Economist to help understand and assess both our impact and the impact of the wider arts and cultural sector. The post holder will work within the Policy & Research team to support key activity over the next eighteen months, contributing towards policy development and providing a considered economic perspective to our work.
To succeed in this role, you will have a strong quantitative background and experience of economic analysis and modelling, producing succinct reports and articulating findings to non-specialist audiences. Experience within the arts and cultural sector is desirable but not essential. The post can be based in any Arts Council office although some travel within England may be required.
