Description
In close and ongoing collaboration with the Artistic Director, who establishes the company’s strategy, missions and projects, and with the support of the company’s Production Assistant, the Company Manager (administration, production and distribution) will coordinate all the company’s activities organized along these 4 axes:
- Creation and distribution of the company’s repertoire
- International artistic collaborations
- Education, training and cultural project coordination
- Coordination of the dance for children projects
S/he will most notably be charge of:
- The company’s general administration
- The ASBL’s everyday running
- Elaborating and following up on production budgets
- Organizing the company’s tours, new productions and workshops
- Writing and following up on funding applications in Belgium and abroad
- Distributing the company’s shows
- The company’s wider communication
Dame de Pic/Cie Karine Ponties offers a full-time fixed-term contract (with the possibility of permanent hire) in a dynamic, national and international, environment. A diverse position with the possibility of developing one’s competences and responsibilities.
PROFILE
Required qualifications
> Fluent in French and English (spoken and written), proficiency in Dutch is a plus
> Autonomy, good organization and priority management skills
> Excellent writing skills and ability to synthetize
> Reactive, flexible, team spirit
> To be able to defend the company’s artistic work
Education
> University-level
Experience
> Preferred experience in the management of artistic projects, and more specifically in the performing arts
