PROJEKT EUROPA is a migrant-led theatre company and artist collective creating multilingual work at the intersection of performance, co-creation and participation. Grounded in the belief that anyone can be an artist, our work focuses on supporting the creativity of refugees, asylum seekers and first-generation migrants in the UK, amplifying marginalised voices and celebrating the multitude of international perspectives which exist within our borders.
We work in partnership with theatres, community groups and civic organisations to co-create interventions serving migrants and migrant artists both locally and nationally. Our diverse programme creates concrete employment pathways in the creative sector for first-generation migrant artists, either via specific strands such as our mentorship scheme, or by producing ambitious and innovative theatre created by migrant artists.
Our unique programme delivers opportunities for career advancement, creative development & industry visibility for migrant theatre makers, alongside development and production of migrant-led performance work.
