Invitation to Bread&Dance Prague

BREAD&DANCE PRAGUE, 13.-18.5.2023

A unique joint project of leading Czech contemporary dance and physical theatre companies 420PEOPLE, BURKICOM, DEKKADANCERS, FARM IN THE CAVE and LENKA VAGNEROVÁ & COMPANY. Five companies came together to present and start talking about the topic of the long-term status, sustainability, collaboration and development of contemporary dance and physical theatre in the international context. Bread&Dance Prague will offer an open approach, presentations of the latest projects, workshops with choreographers and discussions on international networking.

Three basic lines of Bread&Dance Prague

1. A networking programme for sharing work opportunities, sustainability of high-quality projects and international collaborations of companies and choreographers with the participation of company leaders, producers and promoters from European countries.
   
    
2. Meeting of dancers in the form of independent workshops as a tool for professional development with the possibility of participation in the productions of participating companies.
   
    
3. Theatre off program in which promoters and the general public will be introduced to the best of contemporary Czech dance and physical theatre

• 13-14.5.2023 - International market of dancers in a form of workshops
  
   
• 15-18.5.2023 - International networking basecamp and presentation of work
