IN SHORT ?

The workshop is the first stage of the Open Access project, supported by the Creative Europe programme from the European Union and by the Saison France-Roumanie 2019 of the INSTITUT FRANÇAIS led by 4 European partners : MA avec Granit - L-EST/ European Performing arts and Transmedia Lab ; DuplaCena Lda / Temps d'Images Lisboa ; Colectiv A Cluj and National Theatre Wales and associated partners such as Chapter Arts Centre ; Blog du MMI ; IUT de Belfort-Montbéliard | Page officielle ; UTBM - Université de Technologie de Belfort-Montbéliard ; and others.

It is designed as a full-fledged workshop for 20 artists to discover and work around issues related to forms of transmedia and live performance. At the end of this process, the organisers of the project will be looking to invite 8 artists to join the process of the entire OPEN ACCESS project (including notably 4 prototyping labs and 3 showcases within the partners' festivals).

FOR WHOM ?

For 20 Emerging or mid-carrier performing, digital and visual art (with performing arts experience) or multi-disciplinary professional artists from whole Europe, with no or little experience in transmedia, looking for an opportunity to gain insight into live arts and transmedia creation.
