New IETM Training Programme: Local Journeys for Change
Open call for IETM members to receive training and grants to become local changemakers.
We are happy to introduce the Local Journeys for Change (LJC), a new IETM training programme aimed to empower IETM members to bring positive change to their local professional context, local communities or policy-making field. Through training, mentorship, peer-review exercise, exchange with a wider IETM network and financial support (minimum €1.250 per participant), up to 25 IETM members each year will receive support to realise a small-scale project back home to tackle issues that are most relevant to their local reality.
In 2022, the theme of our first LJC is Inclusivity, Equality and Fairness (for example, fair collaboration practices, gender equality, power relations, diversity of the performing arts field and audiences, access for people with disabilities, social status of artists, and more). Local activities can include developing strategies for organisations, awareness-raising events, workshops for local artists, other professionals and/or institutions, media and advocacy campaigns, developing new models for contracts, codes of conduct or collaborations, and many more.
LJC can help our members to realise a new idea or implement a part of an ongoing project. Selected projects will be announced in March 2022, and are expected to start in spring 2022 and end by 30 November 2022.
Extended application deadline: 7 February 2022 at 23:59 CET
Only IETM members can apply for our Local Journeys for Change. In case you'd like to become an IETM member, you can find more information about our membership here.
