IETM Caravan in Tunisia, organized in collaboration with the L’association de l’art de la rue, has been a great opportunity to immerse in the cultural and political life of postrevolutionary Tunisia.
A few days before the second round of the presidential elections that were expected to settle some political stability or otherwise to even further weaken the society ravaged by the three postrevolutionary years, this informal caravan was an opportunity to witness a moment of suspension between these two perspectives.
The culture professionals and intellectuals have a pretty clear view of what they would like for their future, and this implies a greater openness to international trade, turned to Europe but also to other Arab countries, Africa and the rest of the world. From our side, IETM hopes to take part in this opening.
