Arts and Disability: Access and Aesthetics
In the frame of the Arts and Disability: Access and Aesthetics project, we produced a programme of activities building upon and impacting our membership, focusing on the generation of disabled performing artists in Europe furthering artistic and aesthetic debate around the subject of art and accessibility.
The aim of the programme, designed in partnership with the British Council, was to generate wider conversation about access to the arts for disabled people as artists and audiences, and, further, to explore those areas of the performing arts in which disabled artists and inclusive companies are pushing the boundaries of form.
