An artistic dialogue from a deaf perspective. With humour, integrity and an artist’s perspective, this working group at IETM Zurich starts a discussion as to the creative lives of deaf persons, the impact of sign language and deaf culture on the hearing culture, the notion of communication and what we really understand, the use of sign language as a springboard for creativity and how it can enhance both the aesthetical and political voice within the arts.
