In the past few weeks Teatru Salesjan’s team has been working hard in order to kick off the research phase of Convergence. This project which aims to educate the theatre’s personnel on sustainable practice in the performing arts with youths who are differently abled, in order to create accessible training programmes which would result in employment, properly kicked off in May as we touched base with local organisations PRISMS and Opening Doors, as well as some international collaborators to consolidate timelines for this research phase, and engaging the right people to make our learning experience as fruitful as possible.
This project is part of the IETM Local Journeys for Change activity which is supported by The European Union as part of the IETM Network Grant 2022-2024 NIPA: The New International in the Performing Arts.
