IETM Annual Report 2021
Despite the ongoing challenges of the Covid-19 pandemic, IETM continued to flourish in 2021.
Thanks to the resilience and strong commitment of the IETM team and network, 2021 enabled us to once again meet in person in Lyon and Girona at the first two physical meetings since the beginning of the pandemic. Having an international network like ours once again proved to be an invaluable asset for our sector at a global level.
The extensive important collaborative project Perform Europe took much attention and space in the IETM calendar in 2021. IETM led the project and it has been an humbling yet exhilarating experience for us to design and execute this experimental pilot project. We are happy that the owner, the European Commission, has decided to continue Perform Europe in the coming years.
We continued to utilise the digital realm as a valuable tool to stay connected and strengthened our advocacy actions, as well as disseminating new publications based on the sector’s needs, and initiated and took part in important projects that will set the future trends for the performing arts.
This report presents a comprehensive overview of all our activities, events, publications, projects and advocacy actions that happened in the course of 2021.
