This toolkit is a resource to help you think about how to imagine and create a more inclusive, diverse, and accessible cultural sector for disabled people through your work. It will support you on your journey to becoming more diverse, inclusive, and accessible.

You will also:
- imagine inclusion to build your knowledge and understanding of disability equality and access;
- create inclusion by examining what access provision is and how you can deliver it;
- plan inclusion using simple action-focussed planning tools that embed accessibility from the outset;
- surpass inclusion by looking back and forward to think strategically about your ability to impact change for disabled people
The toolkit was designed as a result of workshops delivered by Birds of Paradise Theatre Company as part of the programme “Disability Arts Showcase Network for the Americas” from British Council Mexico that was held from September 2021 to February 2022.
