The Little Mermaid - Roman Feodori, followed by a Q&A
Andersen's tale Little Mermaid seems to have been known to everyone since childhood. But if you carefully re-read the authentic Andersen’s text, the familiar childhood fairy tale gets another sound.
Why was the Little Mermaid so drawn to the earthly world even before she met her Prince? Why was she so sure that she would love the people living there? What was the reason she was ready to give her hundreds of years for one day to be a human? And was the Little Mermaid’s love so unhappy, although it brought her a lot of heartache? Together with the audience, the authors of the show will try to answer these questions in order to understand the price for the tears, which Little Mermaid felt for the first time at the end of the show (although, as you know, mermaids cannot cry).
The audience will see true magic of Andersen's fairy tale, it’ll be real, poetic, spectacular. While music and choreography will turn the performance into a mysterious parable that will not leave indifferent neither children nor adults.
