Rhapsody in Rock style - Izumrud Russian folk instruments ensemble
Russian folk instrument ensemble was created on the basis of the Sverdlovsk State Academic Theatre of Musical Comedy in 1995. A band of six top-level virtuosos, laureates of contests and festivals in Europe and Russia.
Izumrud band members are music groundbreakers who have been skilfully balancing between genres and styles for twenty years and who are not afraid to create the most daring and unexpected musical cocktails, combining Mozart's tunes with Blues, and songs of Elvis with world folk songs. Izumrud is the headliner of Russian and international music festivals, winner of numerous art awards. The band has rich discography and wide touring map.
