Memoria Obscura, a performance about memory and oblivion - Tzeni Argyriou / Amorphy
A young man encounters the past while wandering through the history of a city. His past is reconstructed as he follows various associations linking Now and Then, serving witness to crucial moments in modern Greek history, illuminating the past as a reflection on the present, and asking the question of individuals within a collective memory. Tzeni Argyriou, an independent visual choreographer and media artist, works with various age groups on site-specific projects, interactive installations and participatory dance/theatre performances. Her work has been presented and supported by public and private institutions in Greece, USA, France, Germany and Portugal.
