Immersing us in a world of imaginary reality, three women reveal different aspects of memory, as each one allows her body to tell her personal story. The performance aims to also reference the audience, by means of sound, imagery and symbols of audience members’ own recollections and memories. In recent years, prosxima’s artistic profile has focused on M. Koliopoulou’s investigation of the body as an embodied message carrier, using practice as a research method. A series of choreographies entitled [Actions] are ‘open productions,’ requesting the viewer’s participation and inviting them to create their own story through promps received through the physical actions and structure of the choreography.
