14:00 - 16:00 - Laughter Club: Clown and physical comedy in Berlin
Organisation: Shani Moffat / Clown Slam
Address: Nirgendwo Umwelt- & Kulturort, Helsingforser Str. 10, 10243 Berlin | Event Map
Meeting point: The venue is the tall building at the very end of the long park. Enter through the gate clearly marked 'Nirgendwo'.
In this session, you will discover the physical comedy scene in Berlin in one of its many treasured community cultural spaces, Nirgendwo. You will meet colourful local artists and organisers from different styles and venues encompassing theatre, circus, club culture, social welfare and improv. Key players will introduce their projects, from silly to serious.
Together, we will exchange through a facilitated group discussion covering local venues, funding, training spaces and artistic development, strengthening international networks and different artistic styles. All attendees are welcome to contribute and share their knowledge, experience and perspectives. There will be speed networking followed by time to get to know each other in a more relaxed setting afterwards over a coffee in the garden.
We recommend appropriate outdoor weather clothes for this session.

Meeting point: Entrance of HAU1
The digital stage HAU4 is a platform for the connection between performances & technology and gaming culture. The programme is presented both online and on the theatre stages. On 15 May, HAU will present outstanding HAU4 artists. The audience has the opportunity to immerse themselves in hybrid performances, interactive XR experiments and various game worlds. At the centre is the question of how an artistic perspective can be productive in dealing with social change, in which commercial technology and authoritarian politics are becoming increasingly intertwined. There will be an opportunity to engage in dialogue with the artists.
Artists:
allapopp, Anan Fries, Choy Ka Fai, Interrobang, Janne Kummer, Keiken, Lena Biresch, machina eX, onlinetheater.live, Patrick Blenkarn & Milton Lim and Theresa Reiwer.
