The Association of Independent Performing Arts of Brandenburg (FDKB) invites you to learn more about the international performing festivals taking place in the state of Brandenburg and presents local production and performance venues. One focus will be on the experience of performing arts in the state of Brandenburg. There will be opportunities for exchange and maybe future partnerships. fabrik Potsdam, the host of this journey, is a founding member of the FDKB.

18:30 - 21:15 - Info meeting and TUNING - European premiere of Vanessa Goodman / Action at a distance (Vancouver) as part of the programme of Dance Festival Potsdamer Tanztage

The artistic and project directors from fabrik welcome participants to an exchange on fabrik Potsdam activities - in particular their residency programmes, programme on dance for young audiences and the network Tanzinitiative Brandenburg, supporting the art form of dance in rural areas outside the Berlin metropole.

After an exchange, participants are welcome to attend the European premiere of TUNING, a dance performance by Vanessa Goodman/Action at a Distance Dance Society (Vancouver).

Vanessa Goodman was chosen for this year's edition of Aerowaves.

In TUNING, she invites the audience into a sensitive atmospheric environment. The performers weave their voices into a carpet of sound that accompanies their choreography and amplifies the silent conversations of the body. The performance will be followed by an artist talk.
