Working with refugees (area: Fót/Bicske)
Lifeboat is the surviving unit of the highly acclaimed, now closed Szputnyik Company. Lifeboat’s main focus is on non-formal education, most importantly for adolescents, but they also play for regular audiences. Formats include interactive social theatre games, like Sociopoly. One of Hungary’s most pressing problems, refugees and their treatment by the government, as well as the unique reaction of civil society and the un-precedented surge of private help constitute the basis of this trip to the Bicske refugee camp and a work-in-progress version of the MigSzol Board Game.
