ROUTE 2: Silencio – Daniel Abreu
As strong physicality repeatedly challenges gravity, Silencio by Daniel Abreu acts as a metaphor for vital paradoxes. Indeed, a visual poetry of polarities stems from the command of his dancers, evocative landscapes and delicate musical tones.
Daniel Abreu founded his company in 2004 and has since presented works in more than 20 different countries. He has worked with important artists such as Ana Vallés and Marina Wainer, and has developed an expansive repertoire of more than 50 creations. In 2014 Abreu obtained the Dance National Award in the creation category.
