Immersive Theatre and Performance
The resurgence of immersive, participatory, site-specific and intimate practices has changed the face of theatre and performance in the last decade. It is now increasingly common for practitioners to work between theatre, dance, gaming and installation in order to create immersive 'mixed reality' performance scenarios. This session is an opportunity for artists working with these medias to discuss the opportunities and challenges they face in the mainstream and independent arts sectors.
