Training: Access, disability and the arts
When we say ‘access’ what do we mean, how can we provide it, and whose responsibility is it? In this session we will explore what is referred to as the ‘Social Model’ of disability - how we should all take responsibility for breaking down the barriers that prevent access to what we provide. We will look at a range of situations, illustrate different methods for providing access and discover how to create space and time for finding solutions to accessibility issues. From beginners to experts, this session is designed for all levels.
