Artistic residencies
This practical workshop is open to anyone who is eager to explore the craft of developing and managing a residency. Jeppe Hemdorff Nissen, producer and dramaturg from Bora Bora Residency centre, based in Aarhus, Denmark, will moderate a discussion on regarding a residency as a production method that offers opportunities to break into new territory. This working group will be an opportunity to dig into the issues of designing, funding, hosting and communicating residencies. We will also address the limitations and challenges of the residency landscape and discuss how to overcome these when designing residency programmes in the future. The workshop will combine a panel with group discussions. All voices and insights are welcome!
