Greening as a holistic approach
Climate Change is real. The impact is affecting people all over the world. Responding to it demands that we change the way we live, work and play. Through the Paris Agreement, we have committed to reducing carbon, investing in nature and adapting to a warming planet. A Just Transition, defined by the International Trade Union movement plans for a zero carbon, zero poverty future. In this vision workers rights, gender and racial equality, indigenous rights, and disability rights are central to the process of change. However, too many have their heads in the sand on this issue. How can we continue to rise to the challenge? As the creative community, shouldn’t we play a leading role, particularly in the adaptation process?
