Objectify - Fourth Shape
Objectify is a revealing snapshot of modern juggling. This new circus performance gives an overview of how far the art of juggling has evolved, capturing the zeitgeist from every corner of the globe. Small-scale manipulations bounce, throw, trap, roll, pinch, hit, balance, swing, and catch the three main juggling shapes: balls, rings, and clubs. An intimate evening of inanimate objects.
Jay Gilligan has performed in 23 countries, touring solo work, collaborating with companies such as Gandini Juggling Project, Cie Jérôme Thomas, Les 7 doigts de la main, Cirkus Cirkör, and Cirque du Soleil. He is the head teacher of juggling at DOCH, The University of Dance and Circus in Stockholm, Sweden.
