cut-outs & trees - Cristina Caprioli/ccap
Following world premiere at the Venice Biennale and performances in Stockholm and London, cut-outs & trees is back at Dansens Hus. Experience hundreds of slivers of real and virtual trees, shadows, traces and patterns in a visual fairy tale. This is a performance that disorientates the eye, but also invites the viewer to wander freely around the dance and experience choreography up close. Electronic aesthetics in collaboration with architect Panagiotis Michalatos.
With 30 years’ experience and many celebrated works and awards behind her, Cristina Caprioli is one of the most acclaimed choreographers in Sweden. The work within her company 'ccap' is characterized by clarity, precision and tension in body and mind, but also by fragility and emotional charge.
