Pre-meeting trip to Quebec City
The capital of the province of Quebec, less than three hours' drive from Montreal, is celebrating its 400th birthday next year. Quebec City towers over the St. Lawrence River, and its well-conserved walls make it the only fortified town in North America. A young, vibrant, original, and determined cultural community has chosen to live and work here artists and arts companies second to none as far as excellence and creativity are concerned. Come and spend a day in the most European and most francophone city of the Americas, on the bank of the majestic, omnipresent river. On the programme are visits to production centres, including the Méduse artists' cooperative and the Caserne Dalhousie, Robert Lepage's creative base.
