Fall on Pluto - Sashko Brama and Les Kurbas Lviv Academic Theatre / Scene 6
Fall on Pluto is a daring look at the value of life from the perspective of persons who are trapped in time and their painful experiences and memories. A person who is neither fully alive, nor dead yet.
Under pressure from routine life and popular culture, psychological and existential problems of senility are not subject to discussion in many societies. Fall on Pluto’s creators spent over a year in close communication with tenants of a geriatric centre in Lviv. This experience was transformed into a performance that explores the infinite soul's yearning for a perfect world. The show combines documentary and puppet theatre, dance techniques and spatial audio design.
The project was supported by the Goethe-Institut, British Council Ukraine and Lviv City Council.
