Common grounds
We will continue some of the conversations started in IETM Porto and the previous day around participatory arts practices. We will look at the case studies of specific projects, exploring the ethos around them, challenging the notions about what participatory work can be, investigating the processes, challenges, common grounds between how and why to work with the public as co-creators and contributors. What does it mean practically to involve the public in an art project? To what extent and at what stage the audience can be involved in the creative process? What legacy should a participatory art project leave?
The presentation of the case studies exploring working with people as co-creators, participants, contributors will be followed by a panel discussion.
