Training for emerging producers
Cooperation and collaboration are on everyone's agenda, from big festivals and cultural agencies to new artistic collectives. Is it easy to work and share with others in a time of excessive individualism and apply market values in the field of the performing arts? How can we create our own community, when even stable cooperation structures are being challenged, such as the EU with the upcoming Brexit?
These questions resonate even stronger for young professionals under the pressure of building a new network and learning from their peers. Three of our members with expertise in administration, production and international touring will share their knowledge and create new tools with a group of young professional producers.
Open to a limited group, this training is aimed at emerging producers with a maximum of 5 years of professional experience. Examining collaboration on various levels, is it possible to cooperate with other individuals of the performing arts, within your own team and within a complex ecosystem? In an international network of producers and programmers, what can we observe?
This training will offer practical tools, exercises and presentations in two sessions.
