Our Caravan to the Caucasus brought together a small group of cultural operators from different parts of the world to discover Tbilisi ( 2 - 4 October) and Yerevan (6 - 8 October).
We started our adventure by getting acquainted with the Georgian art world. In the framework of Tbilisi International Festival of Theatre, we were offered an artistic programme, had ample opportunities for networking with local artists and cultural professionals, and visited key venues in the city.
After a stunning one-day road trip from Tbilisi to Yerevan through the Caucasus mountains and vineyards (5 October), we dove into the Armenian art scene and got introduced to its trends, opportunities and challenges. In the context of HIGH FEST International, we tasted a special sample of performances, met local art professionals and visited the most prominent cultural venues.
