Accessibility
We aim to make the IETM Berlin Plenary Meeting as accessible as possible.
The accessibility provision for each session and its venue will be uploaded upon confirmation of the full programme. If you require more information about a particular venue, please contact them directly on the details provided.
For this meeting, we are able to:
- Offer preferential rates for disabled participants;
- Offer free registration for your support worker;
- Provide an Easy Read Guide of the meeting and an accessible version of the programme, which will be sent no later than one week ahead of the meeting;
- Provide captions for selected sessions of the meeting. We will aim to provide captions for as many sessions as possible. Details of these services will be available online upon confirmation of the full programme;
- Ensure that all venues hosting the working programme and most venues hosting artistic performances are wheelchair accessible;
- Provide a Quiet Room for participants at the meeting's main venue.
The Quiet Room is a space for no talking and a digital detox, to step aside from the hustle and bustle of the Plenary meeting and reduce sensory overload.
