IETM Pitchorama
Are you piecing a project together? Are you in need of collaborators, funding partners or insights? Whether you are just starting out or aiming for international recognition, Pitchorama is here to connect you with the right people and opportunities from within the IETM network. Let's come together to showcase your ideas and present your projects globally.
IETM Pitchorama is a session that provides an opportunity to present a project and to look for partners by taking part in a live pitching session and Q&A during the IETM Berlin Plenary Meeting on Friday 16 May.
Ready to pitch? Please read through the application guidelines and criteria thoroughly and apply via the form below.
Who can apply?
- IETM members from any country
- Delegates sponsored to attend the Plenary meeting by an Associate Member
- Any other Plenary participants based in Germany
We particularly encourage professionals based in Germany and anyone who identifies as an underrepresented demographic at IETM or in the performing arts sector to apply. Please note that if you are presenting a session or project on Thursday 15 May as part of the IETM Plenary meeting (including as part of PAP’s Berlin Performing Arts Market) you are not eligible for IETM Pitchorama 2025. |
Apply if you wish to:
- Develop a project or a practice where there are opportunities for new partnerships;
- Connect with peers who have a certain expertise or network;
- Seek feedback on a new idea;
- Seek partners for European or large-scale funding applications;
- Present exceptionally high-quality work which deserves to be seen by a wider, global audience;
- Expand internationally.
In the application, we will ask you for:
- A short bio, your motivation and a written description of your project at its current stage;
- Pitching video: A video of yourself pitching your project - please note that this video will not be published and will only be used to assess your application;
- Showreel: A video showcasing your work. Please note that if you are selected this video could be used during your actual pitch and not only in the frame of your application.
Here are some guidelines you should use to prepare for the content of your application:
- Each of the two videos should be 2 minutes maximum;
- Please make sure you describe your project as concisely and as clearly as possible;
- Don’t forget to talk about which type of feedback, collaborations or partners you are looking for.
A few extra points to keep in mind
- You must be registered for the IETM Berlin Plenary Meeting 2025 to be eligible to present at Pitchorama;
- The selected presenters must attend the IETM Berlin Plenary Meeting 2025 in person for the live Pitchorama session;
- The person presenting in the pitching video must be the same person doing the pitch and the Q&A during the live session.
- This year, Pitchorama will be live-streamed! We will work together with HowlRound to broadcast the exciting pitches live to your home if you’re unable to join us in Berlin.
