The IETM Green School offers all IETM members inspiration and practical and progressive knowledge. The 2025 Edition will showcase artistic projects and initiatives which IETM member organisations have created and achieved, projects which are exemplary in nature and extremely well suited for the peer-to-peer learning we hold high.
Building on its pilot edition of 2023, the 2025 Green School will be an important space for members to share and develop knowledge with the goal of pioneering their own greening transformations.
On Monday 24 February at 15:00 - 16:00 CET (calculate your time zone) we joined together for an online open session to delve into the programme and its opportunities.
Starting in March, this edition will focus on ‘re-imagining international collaborations’, with key inspirators and experts providing insights into innovative greening methodologies for change.
We take off by welcoming Ant Hampton, renowned performance maker and creator of the Atlas ‘Showing Without Going’. Ant will lead us through the first three sessions of the 2025 Green school and together we will look into the practical, theoretical, artistic, ethical and logistical implications of creating, producing, programming, sending, receiving and/or presenting LIVE performance work without the artist travelling.
Continuing thereafter, we will spotlight IETM members’ disruptive and groundbreaking initiatives and contributions to further promote inter-exchange within the network and harness the existing drive for guidance on new, impactful, and immediate actions.
Disclaimer: All sessions of the 2025 IETM Green School are open to all IETM members prior to registration, free of charge.
HOWEVER, if didn't attend the kick off - or any other session - all IETM members can request a link to a recording by writing to ietm@ietm.org. For Ant Hampton's workshops, it is advised to follow all three sessions if you can - excerpts from the THING workshop will be available for only 2 weeks after the presentation.
