Fell/Fall/Fallen
For 15 years The Lonely Circus has been creating productions mixing theatre, circus and music. The company presents about 60 performances a year throughout Europe; both in the open-air and in theatres. Fall fell fallen is its sixth production which takes a Dialogue between a circus artist and an electro acoustic musician around balancing games on hand made objects.
This production originates from the relationship between a cutting edge contemporary circus artist (Sébastien Le Guen) and a contemporary experimental electro/acoustic musician (Jérôme Hoffmann); and so The Lonely Circus creates an amazing electro/minimal circus. Fall fell fallen, the musical art of falling, a true artistic collaboration between Hoffmann and Le Guen integrating sound and movement with invented musical instruments and falling structures. This is a dialogue about time, humour and balance (a metaphor for life?). This is a strong artistic piece, which appeals to every type of audience.
“This aerial and musical ballet portrays a high level of technical mastery: this mix of nonsense, humour and balance brings the art of the circus right up to date.” Midi Libre
