Economic troubles, political contradictions, growing populism, tensions on gender issues and other challenges test solidarity and cohesion of our society. One month prior to the European elections – it is a right moment to awaken our collective thinking and reflect on the current reality.
On 16-19 April 2014, IETM and Réseau en scène Languedoc-Roussillon gathered performing arts professionals to debate on the role and future of our sector in the world in transition and to reflect on the concepts of "trans-border", "trans-gender" and "transformation".
The IETM Spring Plenary Meeting in Montpellier was an informal ground for plenty of opportunities: spring atmosphere of the charming city of Montpellier induced inspirational networking, relaxed walks, emergence of new ideas and creative alliances.
Inspirational artistic programme consisted of eclectic performances, cultural visits, and SuperTalk conferences.
