During the coach trip to Alès and the Cevennes we will begin by tempting your taste buds with some typical Alèsien drinks and appetizers, exposing you to the purely natural and local flavours that Alès has to offer.

We will explore the Cévenol city starting with a visit to the Pôle mécanique, a former mine structure now transformed into an automotive experiment... Here we will discover the electrical systems of tomorrow ; cars, motorcycles, bikes... An eye-opening document will make you aware of the city’s dream of living in modernity during the 70s. Are the hopes of yesterday, the realities of today and the dreams of tomorrow?

During the bus ride around Alès you will come across the Gardon river, with its well guarded dikes, and finally you will arrive at Cratère – the scène nationale (national theatre) of Alès.

Three of the most original artistic creators will help you discover the taste of their audacity, whe- ther it be with sounds, in the air, using stage design or with music. In this average city, we hope to influence the perception of the world.

In the evening, whilst listening to the music of a motley orchestra we can come together on the terrace of the theatre, under the sun, have a chat and an informal discussion about the meetings held during the day.

Historically, Alès was a homeland to the resistance members... in the future it will be a foundation for the audacious.
