In Spring 2017, IETM Bucharest brought together over 350 performing arts professionals from all over the world for discussions on the realities and possible new ways of working as an artist.
Two years later, we gathered our Romanian members and other local performing arts professionals online through Zoom to discuss the current challenges they face today and the barriers to the internationalisation of the local scene. We also looked back at IETM Bucharest, which focused on the theme Status of the Artist, tried to assess the impacts of the meeting and tracked how the situation of the sector had developed since then.
