Following the first IETM Asia meeting in Singapore IETM co-organised a second meeting in Asia, - this time in Beijing, the cultural capital of China. The meeting had the following objectives:
- to provide more in depth knowledge and information for European performing arts professionals about the Chinese performing arts contexts and for Chinese professionals about Performing Arts in Europe.
- to create the opportunity to meet and exchange between Chinese and European performing arts professionals, through exchange of competences, experiences and good practice examples between cultural professionals from Europe and China
- to create the opportunity to show and discuss European and Chinese artistic work
