Let's Talk Future
24 March 2021
After launching the final Rewiring report, which summarises the main insights and learnings from our trajectory, we invited our members to join us online to discuss the outcomes of the Rewiring trajectory, and what we should put in focus and set our priorities on towards a more sustainable future for our network. You can see the results of the discussion on this page.
Second online brainstorm session
5 November 2020
After the first phase of Rewiring the Network (see below), we had a clear idea of our transitions: in other words, we now knew what we wanted to move away from and which explicit practices and values we wanted to be core in the future.
On 5 November 2020, we hosted a second online brainstorm session with members where we started the next phase of our intensive trajectory. As part of this phase, we discussed how the international performing arts community could implement these transitions and what should be the role that IETM and other accelerators might play in the actual transition process.
First online brainstorm session
19 May 2020
We officially launched Rewiring the Network with our first online brainstorm for members on 19 May 2020.
The questions on the agenda were: What’s on our mind? What’s challenging and inspiring our work? Where do we want to go and what would we need a network for? And what can all of us bring to the table to have a real sustainable impact?
After an introduction about systemic approaches to change and transition, participants broke out into virtual groups to share and exchange about their most pressing issues, on the challenges they encounter, and brainstorm on how existing experiments and new ways of thinking and doing could be the building blocks for a more sustainable future on the artistic, human, social, economical and ecological level.
