Practices and thoughts of transborder artists
Even though the Schengen Area has been opening up since 1995, the border issue becomes again a main political subject in Europe. The last voting in Switzerland about this subject witnesses this fact. Are the contemporary artists influenced by this border issue, even if they are nomadic by nature? Can they remain the standard-bearers of a territory of origin even if their practices, their networks and their audiences are more and more globalized?
