Plenary Meeting "Trans"
The economic and social processes that affect severely the contemporary societies are starting to generate heavy reaction movements. To shut ourselves away into the borders of our country, our identity, our habits or our reference values: nowadays, closed minds are becoming more and more common. Let's take advantage of the “trans” spirit of the meeting in Montpellier to thwart this tendency.
For this occasion, we will try to present the general context of this meeting.
We will also introduce the research about transgender started by the IETM, in partnership with the Relais Culture Europe that will result in a new publication in the series "Fresh Perspective".
